About

How would you describe your relationship with food? Maybe it’s strained because of years of chronic dieting?  You’ve celebrated weight loss “achievements” only to have something stressful happen and soon the comfort of food causes the number on the scale to drift back to where it was and beyond.   Perhaps you’re afraid of certain foods because you’ve been told they’ll make you fat?  And in this fat-phobic world, there is nothing worse you can think of being.  Or maybe you’ve lost interest in eating all together?  It’s become a chore, just another “thing” you have to do.  Wherever you’ve come from and wherever you’re at right now, I’d love to help you find your freedom with food and eating.

I offer a trauma informed, weight-inclusive, non-diet approach to help clients improve their food relationships, gain understanding of nutrition, and shed light on body image and it’s effects on food choices.

No more guilt and shame from eating and existing in your own body. No more secrecy and isolation.

You will receive emotional support and an understanding of how feelings impact how you eat and the powerful tool that food is in coping with negative emotions.  When you are ready, you will learn what mindfulness in eating looks like and how to practically incorporate it into your daily life.

I have experience working with neurodivergent clients, and people of all ages as well as those with disordered eating and diagnosed eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder (BED), avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), and other specified feeding or eating disorder (OSFED).  I use a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI) and emotion coaching.

It takes courage to reach out and ask for help. You are worth helping. Please contact me so I can help you too.
