Verified registered dietitian. Our team has personally checked the credentials of this dietitian.
As a registered dietitian working in private practice for almost ten years, I’ve brought my experience in nutrition counseling to my shift worker family across Canada.
Working shift work can mean feeling tired all the time. It can mean feeling confused about when to eat and what to eat.
It can also mean your risk for chronic disease is very high. The good news is, none of that has to be your reality.
Being married to a first responder, I saw firsthand the toll shift work takes on the body. The research surrounding the health outcomes for shift work was alarming, considering the scarcity of quality education and support for this demographic.
I am passionate about helping shift workers improve their energy and health outcomes through realistic, simple nutrition strategies tailored to their shift schedules.
Educational services available include one-on-one nutrition counseling, corporate presentations, webinars, industry-specific resources, and online courses.
Don’t work shift work?
There’s still so much we can do.
I provide individualized nutrition counseling services for mindful eating, relationship with food, ideal meal timings, pre-diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, dietary restrictions, allergies/intolerances, pre- or post-natal support, and more.
We’ll discover your unique chronotype (night owl, early bird, or somewhere in between) to identify your ideal meal timings to support your natural circadian rhythms.
