My mission is to help YOU, the jaw surgery patient, confidently eat after jaw surgery.

Fueling your healing body with nourishing foods, while navigating liquid, puree, and soft food diets, is no small task!

Feeling overwhelmed? Navigating the what to eat after jaw surgery, how to eat (syringes? condiment bottles? a cup?), what supplements to buy (meal replacement drinks? protein powders? wound healing supplements?), preventing excessive weight loss, treating constipation with high fiber foods, etc. is A LOT!

With the research telling us that poor nutrition is associated with slower post-surgical healing times and a higher risk of complications, I don’t understand why all jaw surgery clinics don’t have a full-time dietitian on staff!!!

FYI – I personally had double jaw surgery myself in 2019 at the Montréal General Hospital. In preparing for my own surgery, I was shocked at how few resources were available to patients, and I knew I had to do something about it, which is why I created this private practice.

Thanks to my lived experience with jaw surgery, I’m not only qualified as a registered dietitian to help you with the food part of your journey, but I also completely understand the emotions that come with living with chronic jaw pain, braces as an adult, having fears around complications from surgery, the recovery process, etc.
