Tell us about yourself and your practice?

My name is Carrie, and I am the owner of Score Nutrition. I see clients in person or virtually to help them improve their nutrition to meet their sports performance goals, body composition goals, feel better or to improve their relationship with food. I also work with teams and students at various schools to educate them on healthy eating and eating for sport performance. In some cases, I also facilitate cooking classes! I also offer group presentations and teach nutrition to university students.

What ways did you market yourself before the Dietitian Directory?

It was mainly word of mouth from other dietitians, clients or teams. I don’t have a lot of time for social media!

Describe the amount of clients you have received through Dietitian Directory?

I would estimate that about 20% of my clients come from the Dietitian Directory.

I don’t have to spend time creating social media posts, writing blogs or marketing myself to other businesses or health clinics. Most importantly, it allows me more time to spend with my clients and students, to work on presentations and projects and keep up to date in my practice.
