About

I’m a registered dietitian with nearly a decade of experience helping people reconnect with food as a source of nourishment, joy, and long-term health. My journey into this work began with a simple fascination, how the food we eat becomes energy that powers every part of us. Over time, I became frustrated with how nutrition is often treated as an afterthought in health care, and how diet culture has over complicated something meant to be simple and satisfying.

My mission is to bring nutrition back to its roots: real food, real habits, and real change. I use food as medicine and also a foundation for health, longevity, and happiness.

My Philosophy

I focus on patterns over perfection. Instead of chasing trends or “superfoods,” I encourage clients to build variety into their meals, meaning diverse, plant-forward choices that support gut health, reduce inflammation, and promote long-term vitality. I reject diet culture’s fixation on weight and numbers. My goal is for clients to feel strong, energized, and capable at every stage of life. Health is something we build one habit at a time — and it doesn’t require perfection.

Areas of Focus

* Women’s health across the lifespan (including pelvic health and menopause)

* Sports and fitness nutrition — helping recreational/lifestyle athletes fuel for the activities they love!

* Digestive health and chronic disease prevention/management

* Preventive focused nutrition for long-term vitality and healthy aging

I especially enjoy working with adults in their 30s, 40s, and 50s who are ready to take proactive steps toward prevention and sustainable wellness. But it is never too late or too early to optimize your nutrition!

My Approach

My sessions are calm, collaborative, and grounded in empathy. I take time to understand each person’s story before offering guidance. Clients leave each session with clarity and one or two simple, realistic tools they can implement right away.

My background in hospital and long-term care nutrition has shaped my belief that what we do today directly influences our health and independence later in life.

Beyond the Clinic

Food is a central part of my own life. I cook mostly from scratch, grow herbs and vegetables in my backyard, and love sourcing local foods through community programs. I also live what I teach when it comes to movement. I’m an endurance runner who finds joy in training for half marathons and trail races, and I’ve even completed a 53 km backyard ultramarathon. Movement should be something that enriches life, a celebration of what the body can do when properly fueled.

My Vision for Clients

My goal is for every client to leave our work together feeling empowered to make choices that truly serve their health and happiness. I want people to feel confident navigating nutrition information, equipped with practical skills, and free from the noise of diet culture.

Food is the foundation of health and longevity and I believe it should always be flexible, joyful, and deeply nourishing.
